All meeting functions will be held in Hotel Tropical, there are enough rooms in this hotel complex to house all participants, for convenience and saving of time and hassle, we recommend you stay in Hotel Tropical. All other hotels are located at a minimum distance of 16km from the congress site, downtown. Morning and evening shuttle services to Hotel Tropical will be provided. Public bus, taxi, and motor boat service is also available. Cars can also be rented or motor cycles purchased. We do not recommend riding bicycles on Manaus streets unless Dick Vogt is listed in your insurance policy as your beneficiary.

For more details (single room and superior category prices, additional nights, etc.) please refer to the description of each travel package by clicking on the operator's name. All hotels other than Hotel Tropical are located at a minimum distance of 16 km from the congress site. Morning and evening shuttle services to Hotel Tropical will be provided. The official fare for a one-way taxi ride between the city and the congress site costs $ 15.00US

Be sure to indicate your interest and payment for banquets, special activities, T-shirt, group photos, etc. on the registration form. To take advantage of early registration rates, your completed registration on form an all fees must be poster marked by 1 May 2008. On-site-check-in will take place at the Tropical Hotel Conference Center beginning on 26 June 2008. Participants are encouraged to register in advance so preparations can be made for materials, meals, and other functions. Registration staff will confirm your enrolment in the "6th World Congress of Herpetology"
